Biography: Youth: I was born near Washington, D.C. where my father was a U.S. Army Sergeant Major working at the Pentagon. He was later stationed in Germany, writing for the Stars & Stripes, so that is where I spent my early childhood. My later youth and college years were passed in beautiful rural New England. Adult: After earning a B.A. in English at Mount Holyoke College, I moved to Los Angeles, and fell in love with the city. During my 25+ years in L.A. I became an author, photographer, artist, and manager. I have been privileged to serve as creative consultant and "book midwife" for fitness expert Jack Witt's fitness books Tight, Tone and Trim and Cut, Cool and Confident and From Passion to Purpose (visit Jack Witt's author site here). Academic projects have included writing ELL test passages for MetriTech, Inc. My mother and aunt still live in New England. My siblings and their families are based in L.A. - and I am the very lucky aunt of the best nieces and nephews in the world, who constantly inspire my work.
